LPRAD

The High Performance Network Planning Laboratory is linked to PPGEE / UFPA, and is the first state-of-the-art laboratory in telecommunication network technologies in the Amazon region. It carries out activities related to the various network technologies (backbone, approach and "last mile" - wired and wireless) from a planning perspective, aiming at the evaluation and optimization of the performance of these networks.

LPO

The LPO aims to generate solutions and advances, motivated by "real world" problems and applications, in the research and implementation of mathematical, statistical and computational intelligence models for the generation of knowledge. The Operational Research Laboratory (LPO) is associated to the Faculty of Computer Engineering and Telecommunications (FCT) of the Institute of Technology (ITEC) of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA).

LTS

The Laboratory of Social Technologies, linked to the area of concentration of Applied Computing of the PPGEE / UFPA, has interdisciplinary and multi-institutional action, which brings together researchers and institutions of diverse profiles and nature, based on the use of mathematical and computational models for solution Of real world problems.
Examples of LTS areas of action are: energy, public health, social security, environment, education and digital inclusion.

LINC

The LINC is associated to the Institute of Technology of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) and aims to research new technologies capable of identifying patterns, making predictions and inferring scenarios and behaviors for analysis and diagnosis. It targets applications to public / governmental and private areas By developing methodologies and decision support systems.
